I have the honour to enclose for your

consideration copy of a letter received from Dr. Brock,

Dean of the Faculty of Applied Science, University of

British Columbia, requesting that he may be furnished with

copies of the new maps of Hong Kong in preparation by the

War Office.

Dr. Brock was employed by this Government in

connection with the Geological Survey of the Colony and

I shall be glad if the War Office may be asked to comply

with his request.
